If you are under the age of 18:

• Step 1. REGISTER for the 30-hour online driver education class (must be at least 15). 
• Step 2. Pass the knowledge test (permit test) and receive your instructional permit (must be at least 15 and a half).
• Step 3. Register below for at least 6 hours (per DMV) of behind-the-wheel lessons. 
• Step 4. Practice driving with a parent/guardian for 50 hours (10 at night).
• Step 5. After six months, take the drive test at the DMV.

If you are over the age of 18:

• Step 1: Pass the knowledge test (permit test) and receive your instructional permit. 
• Step 2: Register below for behind-the-wheel lessons and schedule online.
• Step 3: Take the DMV drive test when ready.
